Funfetti cake and antique candle holders - the sweetest juxtaposition! This pretty wedding at The Hillsboro Club in Pompano Beach, FL perfectly married the couple's personality with floral that resembled the natural Florida vegetation and chic, timeless decor.
Their wedding weekend started off with a welcome party at The Hillsboro Club, featuring none other than a candy bar where guests were invited to build their own bag of sweet treats of his and her favorites, adorned with custom stickers with the couple's new last name.
Fast forward 12 hours, and wedding day has arrived! Bride Hannah setup the cutest gifts for her bridesmaids to pick and choose from for getting ready that morning, including monogramed jewelry boxes, pearl-beaded hair clips, powder blue hair scrunchies, and the cutest blue pajama sets. Hair & makeup services were provided by The Clyque, and a direct quote from the bride herself after looking at herself in the mirror was "Oh my gosh! I look like a famous person! I'm obsessed!" - and that she did! Hannah looked picture-perfect and was ready for her big day following some fun champagne photos with her girls.
Both the bride and groom had stunning wedding accessories and meaningful details to photograph - from their family wedding book, to the bride's Loeffler Randall shoes, and the groom's watch. These details, paired with their wedding blooms and Florida palms, perfectly captured their wedding design and chic aesthetic.
The ceremony took place in the sea room - with incredible floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean behind the altar itself. The altar was graced by an incredible ceiling installation that featured a piece of driftwood, palms, and white roses & hydrangeas created by local florist Dalsimer Atlas. Hannah and Tommy opted to not have a first look prior to the ceremony, so they had a true first look down the aisle. Leading up to the bride's entry, Hannah had a vision of walking behind sheer draping in order for her silhouette to be seen without reveling too much of her look as she approached the aisle. We lined one wall of the room with draping, and her brother's opened the curtains to reveal her for the first time to her groom, Tommy. The love in the room was tangible.
Their cocktail hour took place in the lobby - where Nantucket meets Florida with white and blue latticed designs, cozy sun room furniture (picture a sun room in a summer home up North!), and built-in fireplace. Spicy Margaritas and cans of Bud Lights were butler passed as an ode to the bride &. groom's favorite drinks.
Guests then entered into the reception space in the Hillsboro Club Ballroom, where their dinner tables featured antique gold taper candle holders, sourced via. the bride's aunt from various antique shops throughout Pennsylvania. So chic, so timeless, and so much fun to place surrounding their tall palm centerpieces. Their tablescapes were clean and timeless, blending well with the ballroom interior.
During the reception, the couple had their cake and ate it, too! They had their favorite cake flavor play a roll in their wedding day.... funfetti! Bride Hannah looked stunning in her reception dress, and the couple couldn't stop smiling all evening. DJ Ray Costa kept the party going all night, and even cued up a certain Frank Sinatra song to fade into the background as the couple made a special announcement to their guests. The couple is NYC bound - what a way to start out their chapter of marriage! The newlyweds were cheered out of their reception space with guests blowing bubbles (& a couple of higher powered bubble machines), it was such a fun, photogenic, and mess-free way for them to exit.
The fun continued into the night with their after party on the deck of the Hillsboro Club. What a fun, memorable wedding weekend for everyone that was able to attend! We couldn't be more honored to have played a role in bringing this wedding to life!!!
With love,
Ash
